Emerging Nigerian Leader Awarded Prestigious Scholarship to Boost Sustainable Development

A Nigerian from Ahiazu-Mbaise, Imo State, Dr. Gbujie Daniel Chidubem has been announced as one of the recipients of the prestigious 2023 Strada Award for Emerging Leaders. The award, funded by the Quantic School of Business and Technology, is given to individuals with promising leadership abilities resulting in socially impactful outcomes, exceptional academic success, and stellar career accomplishments.

Dr. Gbujie, who hails from Ahiazu-Mbaise in Imo State, Nigeria, was selected from tens of thousands of applicants worldwide. As a recipient of the 2023 Strada Award for Emerging Leaders, he will be sponsored and given all the academic, technical, and financial support to secure an Executive Master\’s in Business Administration at the Quantic School of Business and Technology.

While the award selection committee takes into account a variety of variables, such as professional backgrounds, leadership qualities, academic achievements, job histories, and free-response answers provided during the interview stage when selecting award recipients, it also focuses on supporting and providing emerging leaders from across the continent with global business administrative skills and competences that will enable recipients to create sustainable development dividends for society while investing in the next generation of promising leaders.

Dr. Gbujie\’s passion for sustainable development and leadership in business administration made him a deserving recipient of the 2023 Strada Scholarship for Emerging Leaders. He expressed his appreciation to the entire management of the Quantic School of Business and Technology, including Tom Adams, board chairman, Ori Ratner, Alexie Harper, Co-Founders, and Bill Fisher, the CEO, for approving his award. He also thanked his wife, Dr. Ezioma Uchegbu-Gbujie, Team54Project members, and Ms. Sarah Price, one of the Quantic School of Business and Technology staff members, for their support and encouragement to apply for the scholarship.

Dr. Gbujie was conferred with the US President\’s Volunteer Service Golden Award medallion in March 2023, at 58 Park Avenue in New York, with the personalized certificate of achievement and a letter signed by President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. This support will enable Dr. Gbujie to acquire essential skills and competencies necessary to create sustainable development dividends for society while investing in the next generation of promising leaders, providing them with leadership development tools and critical socioeconomic engagement exposures that result in positive financial and career advancement opportunities.

Dr. Gbujie\’s passion for sustainable development and leadership in business administration makes him deserving of the 2023 Strada Scholarship for Emerging Leaders. His training and eventual success will benefit Nigeria by equipping him with global business administrative skills and competencies necessary to positively transform Nigeria\’s economic landscape.

Dr. Gbujie envisions a future education workforce system that will equip workers and young people with the skills, competencies, and credentials needed to access countless opportunities in our new realities as we approach the end of the sustainable development goals mandate in 2030.
