At the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29) in Baku, Azerbaijan, Nigeria reaffirmed its commitment to global climate goals through strategic engagements and advocacy.

Highlighting Nigeria’s potential, Keyamo positioned the nation as a prime destination for green investment opportunities in the aviation and aerospace sectors.
“Our participation at COP29 underscores Nigeria’s dedication to fostering global partnerships that align with the Paris Agreement and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),” Keyamo said.
He noted that the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development is steadfast in its mission to make Nigeria a leader in sustainable aviation practices. This commitment has not gone unnoticed.
Meanwhile, at a recent ceremony in Abuja, the Nigerian Employers Consultative Association (NECA) presented Keyamo with the Visible Impact in Public Service Award for his efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s aviation ecosystem through international collaborations.
